Hospitality for the Church

Coffee.People.Purpose.

Building authentic communities to advance the Gospel through marketplace missions.

Our vision

Our vision is to see churches flourish by helping them create welcoming spaces where Gospel-centred hospitality builds community, belonging, and pathways to mission.

Why we exist

The problem

The heart for mission is there. The buildings are there. What’s missing is a model that keeps both going.

01

Mission depends on donations

People have a heart for evangelism, but often lack the resources or financing to act on it. Donations tend to run out eventually.

02

Church spaces are under-utilised and dormant

Many church buildings sit largely unused through the week, despite being well placed to serve their local communities.

03

Churches need sustainable mission models

Closed churches have become flats, bars, community centres, offices, shops and performance spaces.

The challenge isn’t a lack of church buildings. It’s helping them thrive.

Reason we exist

Our Response

A transparent hospitality ecosystem. Like Lydia, the businesswoman whose hospitality, resources and generosity advanced the Gospel, SERVE is how we strengthen and resource the Church: a sustainable ecosystem that keeps mission at the centre at every stage.

  • 01

    Coffee Plantation

Sources beans through church-linked farms, such as in Burundi.

  • 02

    Roastery

    Delivers beans through roastery partnerships.

  • 03

    Café

Coffee and hospitality operations at the host church.

  • 04

    Coffee Cart

Partnering and delivering beverages for church events.

The operating model

How it works

Each stage is hosted by a church. Profits from the café flow into a fund that plants the next one. Tap a stage to see what it does.

Branding, training, systems, management support, legal infrastructure (F&B licensing), quality control and supply-chain coordination.

Sources green coffee beans through church-linked farms and trusted grower partnerships.

Roasts, packages and supplies coffee to Beyond Brews cafés, carts and vendors.

Provides rent-free café space that serves the community and generates mission income.

Portion of profits+ External investors

Reinvests café surplus into new Serve pathways, alongside capital from external investors.

Investment

A new coffee plantation, roastery, café or coffee cart, which feeds back into the chain.

Each new plant loops back into the chain

How we got here

Our story

Coffee. People. Purpose.

  1. 01
    2021 · Dubai

    Calling

At a church conference in Dubai, as God called some of our closest friends to church planting, we found ourselves challenged. We asked the question:

    “God, what is our purpose?”
  2. 02

    Exploration

We felt a nudge to keep serving in the marketplace, and a deep calling to use business to support church planting. We fell for the craft of coffee, less for what was in the cup than for what happened around it: people slowing down, connecting and asking deeper questions.

That is where the proverbial bean was planted.

    London

    Preparation

After moving to London, we started hosting coffee gatherings in our home: learning hospitality, experimenting with coffee, and working through the early challenges of setting up stalls and serving our community.

  4. 04

    Partnerships

Along the way, God introduced us to key people, including Soon Min, a barista, coffee trainer, worship leader and passionate follower of Jesus. His friendship confirmed the vision and the timing.

    First Location

We are in conversations with the local church just down the road from our home in Wimbledon, London, for what could be the first Beyond Brews Revive location.

Finney & Heloise

Married for ten years, Finney and Heloise share a passion for hospitality, business and Kingdom impact.

Hospitality runs deep in both families, from Finney’s family businesses, including an industrial bakery in Abu Dhabi, to Heloise’s family bakery heritage in South India.

They have run pop-up food and hospitality experiences across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, learning customer experience, operational excellence and community building. With years of research and hands-on learning in coffee, they bring a conviction that business can unlock marketplace mission.
